Summer Sessions at LaGuardia Community College offer top-notch learning opportunities at an affordable price point for learners of all ages. Whether you’re looking to get a start on your degree or learn the skills you need to take your career to the next level, there’s a summer program for you here at LaGuardia.
Credits you earn here are transferable to degree programs at LaGuardia and other colleges—so your learning doesn’t have to end when the summer does.

Teens
Summer 2024 / In-Person Classes
High school students are welcome to take college-level courses at LaGuardia this summer as a visiting student — see the “Non-Degree/ Visiting Students” section below.
Additionally, we offer specialized English as a Second Language courses for teens ages 13-16. Teens who wish to improve their English skills can enroll in the English Language Center’s Teen English Academy! Click here and scroll down to the “Teen English Academy” header for details. Students will work on writing, reading, listening and speaking in this intensive English course.

Want to advance your professional skills, continue your education, or get a head start on your degree? LaGuardia can help you achieve whatever you set out to do.
Non-degree/visiting students are those taking courses for college credit but are not pursuing a degree here at LaGuardia. If you plan on enrolling in a degree program at a later time, you can transfer the credits you earn here to degree programs at LaGuardia or elsewhere.
