She has written numerous plays, including “Simply Maria, Or the American Dream,” “Confessions of Women From East L.A.,” and “Boyle Heights.” Beyond her writing, López is the Founding Artistic Director of CASA 0101 Theater in Boyle Heights, dedicated to nurturing future storytellers.
