“ReUnited in Recreation” is a one-day conference focused on community and therapeutic recreation, bringing together participants from LaGuardia Community College, Lehman College, Kingsborough Community College, St. Joseph’s University, and Bronx Community College. Hosted at LaGuardia Community College in the E-Building Atrium, the event will occur on November 15, 2024, from 8 AM to 4 PM. Attendees will engage with industry experts, explore emerging trends in recreation and therapeutic practices, and foster connections that strengthen the recreation community.
The “Reunited in Recreation” conference represents a dynamic collaboration between multiple colleges, universities, and professionals, bridging academic and professional worlds and offering students and attendees the opportunity to interact with leaders and experts in recreational programming and therapeutic practices.
By bringing together institutions of higher education and professionals from the recreation industry, the conference creates a platform for exchanging innovative ideas, best practices, and the latest trends in the field.
