LaGuardia Community College is hosting its third annual Community 5K Run on Sunday, October 20. Bib pick up is at 8 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m. in the parking lot on 29th Street (next to the C-Building).
Race day begins at the Activities Plaza, where complimentary bag check is available for 5K participants. The USATF Certified Course travels out through Long Island City to the East River waterfront and back.
After the run, medals will be awarded at the Activities Plaza where runners and guests can enter raffles, enjoy music and check out tables hosted by local businesses. Please see website for frequently asked questions.
