Legal Interpreting (Spanish/English)
Learn the skills required to deliver accurate interpretation in legal settings. You will study interpreting techniques, legal terminology, and the U.S. legal system through role-playing and group discussions. You'll also prepare to take the Court Interpreter Exam for the New York State Unified Court System. Upon successful completion of the program, you will earn a LaGuardia certificate of completion. Prerequisite: High school diploma or equivalency and passing of a Spanish/English diagnostic exam. (The diagnostic exam is valid for up to one year.) ND
