Data Analytics and Data Science Program

Take your data analysis skills to the next level. Build on your knowledge of data analytics by learning advanced Python and take a deeper dive into machine learning and modeling.

Students must pass previous Data Analytics courses or prove knowledge to register for the Introduction to Machine Learning Models (Advanced) course and qualify for a scholarship

The LaGuardia Foundation offers scholarships to qualifying students in the Division of Adult and Continuing Education (ACE) who may be facing financial hardship that disrupts studies and training.

The ACE Scholarship provides partial tuition assistance to help you achieve your educational and career goals. It will cover 80% of your tuition.

Course Fee without ACE Scholarship = $830

With ACE Scholarship - Student Course Fee Responsibility = $166

Eligibility:

• You must be 18 years old or older.
• You must demonstrate financial need
• You must live in the tri-state area.

You may receive more than one ACE Scholarship per year as long as you have not exceeded the annual or lifetime cap amount.

Instructions:

1. Select "Register/Login" and log in to your account or create a new account. Please do not create a new account if you already have one. You can reset your login credentials if you don't remember them.

2. Add the scholarship application to cart by selecting "Add to Cart."

3. Select "Checkout."

4. Answer the application questions.

5. Select "Place Order."

6. You have successfully applied for an ACE Scholarship. Do not register for the class yet. We will notify you when you can register for the class and make the payment.

PBI has increased in popularity over the last several years to become the data visualization and communication tool of choice for many companies and organizations. Develop the skills you need to complete tasks efficiently in a PBI environment. Study the principles underlying the use of PBI to retrieve, manipulate, and visualize data from large datasets. ND

Program Description:

The ability to gather, prepare, analyze and display data is one of the most sought-after skill sets in the information technology marketplace, with demand spanning across sectors that include healthcare, finance, retail, real estate and even gaming. This program offers beginner, intermediate and advanced level data analytics courses, which may be taken individually or as part of a series. Earn a LaGuardia certificate in Data Analytics by completing Data Analytics Foundations; Python for Data Analytics; Data, Databases and SQL; and Data Visualization with Tableau. You can also earn a LaGuardia certificate in Advanced Data Analytics by completing Data Science: Predictive Analytics.
