Refrigeration Machine Operator License Preparation
The Fire Department of New York (FDNY) has approved this 200?hour course, which meets the requirements of both class training and shop work needed for refrigeration machine operator licensing. Course completion also allows you to sit for the FDNY's Examination for Certificate of Qualification for Refrigeration Operating Engineer. Topics include maintenance and repair of compression and absorption refrigeration systems as well as safety precautions for operating, maintaining and repairing refrigeration machinery. You will visit modern refrigeration facilities that manufacture and maintain equipment.
