To deliver its extensive range of technology services in support of students, faculty and staff, DoIT consists of six dedicated teams.

IS provides turn-key technology products to support campus functions and student success initiatives.  In addition to overseeing CUNY systems like CUNYfirst, IS provides consulting, design, development and maintenance of custom applications, back-end web services, cloud technology support, and local network resources to support all divisions’ unique requirements for data analytics, academic progress solutions and website services.

To start a request with the IS Team, please create a DoIT HelpDesk ticket.

ITS is responsible for providing and maintaining instructional technology equipment, software and resources directly supporting teaching and learning.  The ITS Team’s activities include end user support of faculty and credit side and continuing education students in classrooms and computer labs, in-class and online course development, learning analytics, lecture capture, webinars, remote support for Civic Hall (14th Street location) and other academic tools for faculty and students.

Faculty & Staff – DoIT HelpDesk

Provides timely support for software and hardware related issues, whether it’s local or university-wide apps like CUNYfirst, Outlook, or the Faculty & Staff Portal, etc., or with any network services or computer equipment, the fastest and best way to get help is to contact the DoIT HelpDesk and open a ticket.

For help, please do not forward an email request to the IT distribution list or to any other College email list or to anyone at the College.  That will only delay getting help to you, as well as distracting IT people with other responsibilities.
