Hector Fernandez

Hector Fernandez is a Professor of Business and Technology at LaGuardia. He has worked here since 2003. He is the former Director of LaGuardia’s Paralegal Studies Program, which he directed from 2011 to 2022. Professor Fernandez is also a former instructor in LaGuardia’s 10,000 Small Businesses program. Prior to joining LaGuardia, he was the First Vice President of Branch Operations and Technology at Amalgamated Bank. He has worked as a New York State Certified Business Advisor for LaGuardia’s Small Business Development Center and has also owned and operated a solo law practice. He received his baccalaureate degree from Lehman College/ CUNY and a juris doctor from the CUNY School of Law.
