The Division of Communications and External Affairs creates and implements strategies to support the achievement of the College’s mission and to foster relationships with the community it serves. The Division supports student recruitment and retention providing guidance, expertise and oversight for communications, media relations, marketing, brand management and government relations consistent with LaGuardia’s uniqueness as an institution of higher learning.
What We Do
Graphic Design
Print and digital design for publications and advertising.
Media Relations
Work with local and national media to find LaGuardia Experts and share press releases.
Communications
Inform audiences through digital newsletters, email, My LaGuardia, and other mediums.
Video & Photography
Visually tell LaGuardia’s story through compelling images and interviews.
Government Relations
We serve as a liaison to officials and agencies of local, state, and national government and municipalities
Marketing
Digital and print advertisements are created to promote LaGuardia’s academic programs, student support services, and college-wide initiatives.
Community Relations
We engage with the surrounding communities across Queens and partner with community organizations.
Share Your Story
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to tell us about campus collaborations, achievements, programs, upcoming exhibitions and events. We also invite students to tell us about their academic journey at LaGuardia.
